Who is Exitus Crédit?

Optimization in the Hiring Process

Due to the company’s significant growth and increased operational load in the employee onboarding process, the Human Resources department identified a major issue with processing information for new hires, particularly in the sales areas.

In 2022, the department had a team of fifteen (15) data entry operators who processed approximately 10 to 15 new hires per day. This manual operation resulted in a highly costly and prolonged workflow, causing significant delays in the hiring process and in assigning sales personnel responsible for field credit placements.

Given this background, that same year, the company sought a market partner to implement a technological solution that would streamline the talent onboarding process, covering everything from the initial recruitment and candidate selection phase to the final step of processing the necessary documentation for system entry and delivering the hired personnel to the sales department nationwide.

The chatbot Neri is born

In November 2022, the automation project was launched: a recruitment process with a virtual assistant and intelligent document processing with the following objectives:

– Develop and implement an automated system with artificial intelligence to streamline the recruitment and hiring process, providing a positive and enriching experience for candidates.
– Ensure the operational continuity of staff onboarding in an agile and secure manner.
– Maintain a high standard of quality in personnel selection while reinforcing the company’s image as an innovative and people-centered entity.

In March 2023, the Neri bot began operating on WhatsApp, allowing candidates to complete their onboarding process quickly and efficiently, without needing to send repetitive information to different departments, and achieving onboarding in less than 24 hours.

The bot interacts with candidates conversationally using Natural Language Understanding (NLU), receives the official documents required for hiring, and performs intelligent data extraction from each document. If there is any inconsistency in the information, it transfers the case to a human agent; otherwise, it autonomously completes the process by sending the necessary notifications to both the candidate and the organization’s staff.

This automation allowed the process to shift from requiring fifteen (15) HR operators, achieving around 15 hires per day, to having only two (2) operators and accomplishing 25 hires per day. Response times also saw a significant improvement, dropping from an average of 24 hours to less than 5 minutes.
